What a business launch costs in Melbourne
These are our own prices, published in full. They are not a market average, and we have not made one up. Urban Launch is a done-for-you business launch run by Urban Media, a Melbourne studio: brand, website, content and systems in one package, one team, one invoice.

What is not included in the price
Ad spend. If you run paid ads, the budget that goes to the platform is separate and you pay it direct, so none of it is marked up by us. Paid ads are set up and run as part of the Launch Elite package; the media budget behind them is still yours.
What else a new business pays for
The price above covers the brand, the website, the shoot and the systems. Opening a business also has costs that sit outside it, whoever builds your brand. This is general information, not legal, tax or financial advice, and the official sites below have the current figures.
- An ABN. It is free to register at abr.gov.au.
- Your business name, if you trade under a name that is not your own. ASIC charges a fee, so check asic.gov.au for the current amount.
- Insurance, licences and permits for your industry (business.gov.au and business.vic.gov.au have the checklists).
- A domain name and hosting, which renew every year.
- An accountant or bookkeeper to set up your structure and GST.
- Ad spend, which is paid direct to the platform and is separate from our price.
- A cash buffer for the first months, before the enquiries turn into income.
For the order to do these in, read what to do after registering an ABN, or the new business launch checklist. For what a launch with ads looks like in practice, see the Airwize case study (12 conversions, meaning leads that became sales, in the first month of Google Ads from $70 of ad spend, our figures).
How payment works
50% to start, 50% at launch. Paying the full amount upfront gets a discount, which we will quote you on your Launch Call.
What it costs to keep going after launch
The Growth Engine is optional, and it is billed monthly. From $1,500/mo. Ad spend is separate and paid direct. It covers five things:
- Found
- Showing up when people search for what you do.
- Seen
- Staying visible across social and content so people recognise you.
- Offer
- Making what you sell clear and easy to say yes to.
- Follow-up
- Making sure no enquiry goes cold.
- Refer
- Turning happy customers into your next customers.
What you own once it is built
Everything we build is yours. Same as any client work.
What it costs you in time
Only three touchpoints from you. We run the rest of the ten steps ourselves.
Live and generating enquiries within 45 days, or we keep working at no extra cost until you are.
That holds on three conditions:
- You spend on media.
- You answer your own leads.
- You approve creative and campaigns within 48 hours.
Whether this is the right spend for you
It is if
- You're starting or scaling a business, trade or product.
- You can invest properly in getting it right.
- You're a tradie, a founder or opening a new brand.
- You'll show up for the shoot and turn approvals around fast.
It isn’t if
- You're pre-revenue with no budget for this.
- You want the cheapest option, regardless of how it looks.
- You just want a logo, not the whole launch.
- You won't reply to your own enquiries.

Common questions about cost
- How does payment work?
- 50% to start, 50% at launch. Full upfront gets a discount, ask on your Launch Call.
- Why one team instead of hiring separately?
- One team carries your brand through the website, the shoot and the systems, in order, so you brief once and deal with one team instead of a separate supplier for each part. The three fixed prices ($5,900, $11,900 and $19,900 AUD, excluding GST) replace a separate quote from each supplier.
- How long does a business launch take?
- It depends on the package and on how fast you get us logins, brand direction and existing content, and you get a clear timeline on your Launch Call. What Urban Launch promises is that you are live and generating enquiries within 45 days, or we keep working at no extra cost until you are, as long as you spend on media, answer your own leads and approve creative and campaigns within 48 hours.
- Who owns everything once it's built?
- Everything Urban Launch builds for you is yours, the same as on any Urban Media client project. That covers your brand, your website and the systems built for you.
- What happens after launch?
- The Growth Engine keeps it going, from $1,500/mo, ad spend separate. There when you're ready to grow past launch.
